Some months are easy to measure in deadlines. Others are better measured in ideas.
August was a little bit of both at Draftss.com. Behind every design we worked on was a different problem to solve: how to make a message impossible to scroll past, how to give a brand a stronger visual personality, how to turn a simple idea into an illustration, or how to make something work just as well on a screen as it does in print.
And that’s what makes looking back at a month of design interesting. It isn’t just a collection of finished files. It’s a snapshot of all the different creative directions we explored along the way. One project might have started with a blank canvas, another with an existing brand that needed a fresh perspective, and another with nothing more than a thought that needed to become something visual.
So rather than simply scrolling through what we made, consider this a little tour through the Design Highlights for the month of August straight from the design teams desk. It includes a mix Different briefs, different visual languages, different challenges, and one month packed with exciting designs.
Social Media Design Inspiration
Each of our client has a design idea that they want to see come to life, these included promotional posts, product-focused content, educational carousels, service-based creatives, campaign visuals, event announcements, and informative posts. Some designs needed to catch attention quickly, while others had more information to communicate and needed a clear, easy-to-follow layout.
The visual approach changed from project to project. Photography, illustrations, typography, icons, brand colors, and graphic elements were used in different combinations depending on the content. Bold imagery and stronger colors helped promotional posts stand out, while carousels and information-led designs used more structured layouts to guide people through the content. This variety of social media design allowed each project to follow its own brand style while keeping the message clear and easy to understand.
The collection includes work across fitness, wellness, food, education, real estate, campaigns, events, and other industries. Each project had its own style and purpose, but the focus stayed on making the message clear and keeping the design connected to the brand. The result is a varied set of social media creatives made for different platforms, audiences, and communication needs.

Logo & Branding Design
August’s logo and branding work moved across very different kinds of businesses, from food and mobility brands to audio, education, and road safety. The projects included playful identities like Lobster NB and Slush Rush, alongside cleaner, more structured work for SoundCheck, Optimus LDS, Butcher Bloq, and Safe Roads Australia.
Several projects also explored how a logo could work beyond its main mark. RYED and Payday Relay were developed across color palettes, typography, patterns, signage, merchandise design and digital applications, while other concepts focused on finding a strong visual idea that could make the brand easy to recognize. Across the month, the logo and branding design work shows how each identity was shaped around the business rather than following one fixed style.

Emailer Design
Emailer designs focused on clear communication, branded visuals, and easy-to-follow layouts. The August projects included promotional emails, product-focused campaigns, and brand updates designed to present key information in an engaging way.
Each design combines typography, imagery, brand colors, and clear messaging to create email creatives that are visually consistent and easy to understand.

Thumbnail Design Highlights
Thumbnail designs in August focused on turning product updates and feature announcements into clear, engaging visuals. The projects use bold typography, clean layouts, branded colors and graphic design services to make each update easy to understand at a glance.
The designs highlight everything from collaboration and deadline management to workflow automation, integrations, mobile features, and timeline improvements. Across the collection, the focus remains on keeping information organized while giving each thumbnail a clean and consistent visual style.

Illustration Design Highlights
Illustration work in August explored a wide mix of visual styles, from detailed character artwork and story-driven scenes to playful graphics and minimal illustrations. Each project was created around a different idea, using expressive characters, thoughtful compositions, and distinct color palettes to give the visuals their own personality.
The collection also includes decorative artwork, invitation designs, lifestyle scenes, and nature-inspired illustrations. Across the projects, the focus was on creating visuals that support the story or message while keeping each design clear, engaging, and suited to its purpose.

Print & Merchandise Design
Print and merchandise work in August covered a variety of branded materials, including apparel designs, custom signs, promotional pieces, and logo-based merchandise. Each project was created for a different purpose, with the designs adapted to suit both the brand and the physical format.
Graphic Designing for Printable to Make an Impact
Across the collection, the work uses bold typography, custom illustrations, brand colors, textures, and carefully arranged layouts. From wearable merchandise and branded patches to decorative signage, the focus was on creating designs that remain clear, recognizable, and visually effective when produced in physical form.

Need consistent creative output like this every month?
August’s projects show how quickly design needs can move from one format to another. A brand might need social media graphics, ads, or emailers for one campaign, then move into packaging, merchandise, thumbnails, or print designs for the next. Having ongoing design support helps keep that work moving while making sure each new piece still feels connected to the brand.
Brands looking for ongoing creative support can review our portfolio to see more completed projects or explore our plans to find an option that fits their workflow.
That wraps up the August 2026 Design Highlights from the Draftss team. See you again next month.
